Cincinnati CoBALTS Baseball Club

The optimism and high expectations going into '06 were delivered in Game #1 with a strong 18-2 victory over the Cincinnati Royals. The Royals, who were last year's National League champs, jumped out to a 2-0 first inning lead. But then it was all Cobalts. Home Runs from Wags (3-3) and Captain Bo (2-4) lead the hit parade with help from Akes and his lob wedge (3-4, 2,2Bs). Pitching was dominant with Shannon Morgan getting the Win. Paully and Wags each also threw 2 scoreless innings. So far so good! Next up: Cincinnati Astros (Sunday 30th at McNick 9AM)
