Cincinnati CoBALTS Baseball Club

Jeff Saunders threw a 9 inning, 7 hit, complete game shutout against the previously hot-hitting Cobalts. The Cobalt loss forces a second "Winner Take All" Championship Game this Wednesday night at Roselawn Park, 6:30 PM (wear gold). The "chirping" on and off the field reached a new level as the Cobalts and Suds locked horns in a typical hard-fought battle. Shannon Morgan deserved better as 3 Unearned, first inning runs were all that was given up. Boo and Spriggs Monster each had 2 hits but Saunders continually threw out of early jams to stifle the Cobalt bats. Championship on the line Wednesday night...Bring it!
