The Cobalts advance to the Winners Bracket Finals (versus Suds Weds. night) beating the Astros 20-7 on Sunday. The Cobalts had 21 hits and rode Keith Becker and Shannon Morgan's arms to the victory. Boo was Band Leader going 5-5 with 2 HRs. Frank Arnold also went large going 2-3, Captain Bo was 4-5, and Mike "Daddy" Hat(field) was 3-4 with 3 RBI's. The Win takes the Cobalts into Wednesday night's game versus the also undefeated Suds in a key game of the two-and-out Southwest Ohio Tournament. TWIB Note of the game: Keith "Warrior" Becker is OK after taking a direct shot to the "cap" while not-so-nimbly leaping over a ground ball on the basepath...ouch! but funny beyond description.
