Doug Michelsen's 3-3 night, including a wood bat 401' blast to center, sealed a Cobalt 14-8 victory over the rival Cheviot squad. The win gives the Cobalts 2 of 3 victories versus the Patriots who are always tough, especially with pitcher Aaron Moll on the hill. Sean Aichele went the distance in a gutty performance that required working out of jams all night - sometimes due to hole-in-glove-itis disease from the Cobalt defense men. The Cobalts now stand at 25-8 Overall, and their 21-4 CRC League Record gives them their first Regular Season Championship since 1997.
