Game #1 of the much coveted Quatman Trophy goes to the Cobalts after Wednesday night's victory. Keith Becker struck-out the first 11 batters he faced and gave up one hit in 4 innings of work for the Cobalts. Shannon Morgan finished the final three innings giving up only 2 hits and also striking out three. The awesome pitching performance inspired the Cobalt bats with timely hitting and moving runners over lead by Nick Fritsch, Doug Michelsen, Todd Hiler and Johnny Mulvey whose 2 out, bases loaded double in the seventh iced the win. Cobalts back at it tonight against TS Bulls (8:30 Hille, wear navy jersey, red lids, red sox, gray pants, navy belt).
