Hats off to the Cheviot Patriots and their coach, Tim Oakes, for the use of Memorial Field and good solid competition in our first action of 2004. Cobalts looked comfortable using the wood sticks (W, 10-5) highlighted by Joe Spriggs Monster going deep into the left field screen and Boo Rachel going 4-5 (2 doubles). Strong pitching from Shannon Morgan, Shane Schirmer, Keith Becker, and the Stiggs&Spriggs combo. Cheviot Patriots are looking for any and all basebal veterans to join them in a Memorial Day Event.
