Advancing to a re-match with the Blue Note Stogies, the Cobalts defeated the Falcons 7-0 behind power surges fron John Rubel (2 Homers) and Tim Klanke (1 Homer, 2 doubles). Dave Bauer and Tony Aichell combined for the shutout. In the second Win, the Cobalts squandered numerous big inning opportunities via the usual base-running "prowess." Tim Klanke and Joe Spriggs came up with the timely hitting and Shannon Morgan pitched his best game in two years going the distance against defending NABF Champs, Montgomery Inn.
