Cincinnati CoBALTS Baseball Club

The Cobalts take their hats off to all of our brothers and sisters serving the country overseas but especially recognize two of our very own: Mike Gililand (US Army: Iraq) and Tim "Dancer" Burt (US Airforce: Iraq). Gilly is a long-time Cobalt who has made 3 retirement returns. He roamed center field in our first Roy Hobbs World Series (2000) and proved that he can still hit at the Semi Pro level no matter how many drill instructors try and ruin his weekends. Dancer is perhaps our number one fan over the past 15 years. He personally undertook the painting of mascot "Toby" and has annoyed umpires from behind the backstop in many a Friday night game. We are proud to be part of these brave soldiers' families and wish them a safe and speedy return to their immediate families and the Cobalts. Godspeed CoBALTS!!!
