Wildcats wrap up with win

The Kentville Wildcats scored 11 times in the fourth inning en route to a 15-3 victory over host Halifax Pelham Canadians tonight. Kentville finishes with a 23-11 record, and will wind up first unless Dartmouth wins all three of its remaining games. Halifax falls a half-game behind Truro in the battle for the fourth and final playoff berth. The league is on hiatus while Dartmouth is at the Canadian senior championship Thursday through Sunday in Brandon, Man., and will resume play on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
