Interleague play kicked off today, with the Halifax Pelham Canadians making the trip to Moncton to face the Mets. Moncton scored four runs in the eighth inning en route to a 7-2 win in Game 1. Halifax was awarded a 3-2 forfeit victory in Game 2 when Moncton ran out of players after the 15th inning and couldn't finish the game.
