Announcement
The Wildcats and Sydney Sooners split a double header Saturday at Memorial Park in Kentville. Kentville won game 1, 3-2. Evan Comeau had 2 hits and drove in all three runs for the Wildcats. Colby Turple picked up the win in relief of David MacIntyre. Anthony Ianetti took the loss for Sydney.
In game 2 Sydney got out to a 7-1 lead after an inning and half, and held on for a 9-6 win. Paul Doucette went the distance in picking up the win for the Sooners. Sean Fuerguson led the way for Sydney with 2 triples, a double and 3 RBI. Justin Brewer chipped in with a single, and double and 3 RBI. Ian Lockhart had a pair of singles and drove in 3, and Billy MacKenzie had 2 singles, and a double.
