Veteran third baseman, Josh Pelham, broke open a tie game by stroking a two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the 5th inning giving the Halifax Pelham Molson Canadians a 3-1 win over the Kentville Wildcats in a game which was called due to fog in the bottom of the 6th. Connor Sullivan with three singles and Mark Pelham with two were the other top hitters for Halifax. Dryden Schofield ripped an RBI double to account for the Cats' only run off lefthander, Brandon MacKinnon, who otherwise allowed only five harmless singles. Kentville righthander, David McIntrye matched him pitch for pitch until Pelham's clutch single. Kentville returns to the diamond on Thursday night when they travel to Beazley Field to face the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry while Halifax visits Sydney for a pair on the weekend.
