Sooners take two from Bearcats; Halifax clinches second
The Sydney Sooners won a pair of games from the visiting Truro Bearcats this afternoon at Susan McEachern Memorial Field.
Scores were 4-3 in Game 1 and 12-11 in Game 2.
The Bearcats' losses mean the Halifax Pelham Canadians clinch second place and home-field advantage in their semifinal playoff series.
