Truro Celebrates Canada Day with Win
The Truro Bearcats used a 6-run sixth inning to come from behind and beat the Halifax Pelham Molson Canadians in a slugfest at the Mainland Common, 9-6. Darson Murphy and John Chapman led the offence with three hits each while Adam Lucas, Jake Pelham and Tyler Fancy had three hits each for the Canadians. With the win, Truro gains sole possession of second place at 7-6 while Halifax falls to 6-6.
