The Halifax Pelham Molson Canadians, with a no-hitter from southpaw, Brandon Mackinnon, and a walkoff homer from veteran catcher, Shawn Walsh, shutout the Kentville Wildcats 10-0 Tuesday night at the Mainland Common. Walsh doubled, singled and drove in four while Josh Pelham chipped in three singles and a pair of RBI. Adam Lucas smacked two singles and knocked in a run while Jake Pelham doubled and singled for Halifax who sent twelve men to the plate in a six-run first inning. MacKinnon fanned eleven Wildcats in his best outing of the season. Prior to the start of the game, both teams observed a moment of silence to honour the passing of the matriarch of the Pelham family, Mrs. Mary Pelham.
