The Truro Bearcats scored nine times in the first inning en route to a 19-7 decision over the Sydney Sooners tonight at the TAAC Grounds in Truro. Billy MacKenzie and Craig Higgins homered for Truro, and Matt Black picked up the victory on the mound. Geoff MacLellan took the loss.
