The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry shut out the Sydney Sooners 10-0 tonight to open a three-game weekend series at Beazley Field in Dartmouth. The game was called because of the mercy rule after seven innings.
Jeff Reeves made his Dartmouth debut on the mound, allowing just three hits over six innings while striking out nine. Nick Shaw took the loss.
