After being down 5-3 going into the seventh, the Blues turned four hits and two walks into a four-run rally to take the lead 7-5. A passed ball in the eighth extended its lead to 8-5. Dartmouth missed a golden opportunity in the bottom of the nineth. After loading the bases with one out, Darren Doucette drew a walk to plate one run. That was all the Dry were able to muster as Greg West popped out to first for the second out and Joel Irvine was robbed of a game tying hit by the slick glove work of Adam Lucas. Sheldon MacDonald went the distance in picking up the win. Darren Doucette hit a three-run homerun for Dartmouth in the third.
