Truro Bearcats

The Halifax entry in the NSSBL, formerly known as the Halifax Pelham Electric Blues, is now called the Halifax Pelham Canadians. The team continues to be sponsored by Pelham Electric, and they have been joined by Molson Canadian. The team has undergone a change the in coaching ranks as well. Cecil Wright takes over the reigns this year as head coach, and has brought Calvin Byard and Justin Turple aboard as his assistants. "We'll have a new look and hope to play an exciting brand of baseball this year", said Wright. "Our League three perenially stroing teams in Truro, Dartmouth and Kentville. We hope to be right there with them in the thick of things as the season progresses. Calvin and Justin have a lot of experience and a great knack of spotting flaws and weaknesses. We fell fortunate to have them join the team."
