Dartmouth Bounce Back

Game two of the Finals was suspended in the fourth with the score tied at one Friday night. When the game resumed, Dartmouth quickly picked up two runs and never looked back. Joel Irvine lead the way at the dish for the Dry with a pair of home runs and three RBI, and Chad Sawler and Jim Langer combined to throw six shutout innings in relief to give Dartmouth the 6-1 win. The victory knots the series at one with game two set for tonight in Dartmouth. Last year's game two was suspended by fog in the eighth inning with Truro leading 4-3. The fog that beseiged the province held up play on a Sunday and didn't allow for the completion of the game until the following Thursday.
