Forest Hills 9/10 & 11/12 Travel Teams Win Both NY District 26 and Summer Tournaments !!
Congratulations to the Forest Hills 9/10 & 11/12 Travel Teams for winning both their NY District 26 and summer tournaments for the first time in FHLL history. Both teams dominated their oppontents in the championship game with shutout scores of 7-0 for the 9/10s to win the Rosenbluth Tournament and 12-0 for the 11/12s to win the Gorman Tournament. Between both teams, a total of 28 runs were scored in the playoff and championship games while only giving up one run. Equally as impressive was the home field advantage both teams had for each of their playoff and championship games.
The FHLL would like to thank the hugh and enthusiastic crowds that came down to the FHLL Fleet Street ballfields with special thanks going to the parents and coaches for supporting their youngsters and our league; we are very grateful for that.
