Liz Butterly took second overall with a 20:26 and Patrick Helmick ran an 18:53 to pace the girls and boys, respectively, at the Tidewater Classic in Salisbury Wednesday. The girls finished fourth out of 25 teams -- just 3 points from a third-place trophy, while the boys finished a solid ninth out of 25 teams. Brandon Morris ran a career-best 19:03 to reach the Bloom Top 10 for juniors, while Robert Fisher and Garrett Jenkins added career-best times. Kyle FitzPatrick, Matt Esposito, Alan Lane and James Starnes added season-best times. For the girls, Kim Baldwin, Shayla Wilson, Jessica Griffith and Sarah Murphy added career-best times, while Becky Godwin, Becky and Erin Clendaniel and Casey Johnson scored season-best times.
