Milford High School Cross Country

Liz Butterly busted out a 20:53 and freshmen Kim Baldwin and Abby Mitchell broke into the 22s to pace the Bucs to an upset 25-31 win over Caesar Rodney at Killens Pond State Park Wednesday. The Bucs last beat CR in a dual meet in 1994. Jackie Creasey and Becky Godwin rounded out the stellar top five, while freshman Alex Butterly also beat CR's 5th girl. Shayla Wilson closed out the varsity with a 24:24. Giulia Santandrea, Jessica Griffith, Miriam Millard and Taylor Probst ran career-best times, while Emmery Williams, Becky Clendaniel and Casey Johnson earned their season-bests. For the guys, freshman Patrick Helmick led the way with a career-best 20:13 although CR scored a 15-50 win. Brandon Morris, Erick Cisneros, George Kershaw, Robert Fisher, Anthony Kramlich and Travis White paced the varsity.
