Milford High School Cross Country

Despite posting 21 career-best times and three more season-best times, the boys and girls came up short at home versus Sussex Tech in cross country action Wednesday. The girls fell, 19-37, while the boys lost, 16-47. Elizabeth Butterly led the girls with a solid 21:52, while Jackie Creasey moved up on the all-time fastest list with a career-best 22:01. Erica Godwin, Marissa McDonnell, Jessica FitzPatrick, Tricia Gerken and Lindsay Kenton rounded out the varsity finishers. Andrew Meade led the boys with a strong 19:10 while Trevor Jefferson, James Starnes and Logan Moreau closed out the varsity with career-best times. George Kershaw, Kyle FitzPatrick, Alan Lane, Travis White, Alex Ingram, Anthony Kramlich and Dan Wheeler each added career times. For the girls, Alicia Sanchez, Tahnisha Colson, Jody George, Becky and Erin Clendaniel, Courtney Piper, Latrice Whidbee, Keskeda Pierre and Kayla Sturgil posted career-best times.
