Announcement
With 24 runners earning their best home-course times of their careers
on Wednesday, the boys and girls cross country teams wrapped up their
regular seasons with winning records. The boys beat Seaford and fell to
Dover to finish 6-5 for the season, while the girls lost a pair to
finish 7-4 overall.
Rashad Matthews scored his first varsity finish with a career-best
19:20 and Mike Pastor and Brandon Rogers also scored career-best times
for the boys. For the girls, Erica Godwin, Monica White and Tricia
Gerken all earned their career-best times, while Megan Pastor added her
season-best.
The Bucs compete in the Kent County Championships next Tuesday at
Schutte Park in Dover.
