Milford High School Cross Country

Elizabeth Butterly and Jackie Creasey placed in the Top 50 to earn gold T-shirts at the University of Delaware Invitational Friday at White Clay Creek State Park. The girls finished 8th out of 24 teams. Andrew Meade led the boys with a solid 19:23, while rookies Julius Davis and Travis White earned career-best times. For the girls, Tahnisha Colson ran a career-best 27:04 to earn her first varsity finish, while Kayla Sturgil became the 19th girl to break 30 minutes for the season.
