Milford High School Cross Country

Freshman Elizabeth Butterly scored a career-day with a 20:25 to claim the No. 4 spot on the school's All-time Fastest 5K list, leading the girls and boys at the Bellevue Invitational on Friday. In all, 24 MHSCCers scored career-best times, including Jackie Creasey who became the 11th-fastest female, just ahead of teammate Erica Godwin who earned the No. 12 spot all-time. Andrew Meade led the boys with an outstanding best of 18:17. Rookie George Kershaw celebrated his birthday by running a best time and rounding out the top five scorers. Matt Esposito, Henry Wilson, Andre Purnell, Logan Moreau, Kyle FitzPatrick, Julius Davis, Travis White, Brian Cisneros and Anthony Kramlich each ran their best times for the boys. For the girls, Deshauna Purnell, Tahnisha Colson, Candice Young, Casey Johnson, Jody George, Becky and Erin Clendaniel, Courtney Piper, Kayla Sturgill and Keskeda Pierre each ran their bests.
