Milford High School Cross Country

Patrick Helmick set a new home course record with a 16:55 and Molly Bliss surged through with a 20:53 to lead the boys and girls to wins over Smyrna and St. Thomas More Wednesday at Milford Millponds Nature Preserve. The boys beat Smyrna, 15-48, while the girls won 20-37; each team shut out St. Thomas More, 15-50. Overall, with the cool temperatures, 26 boys and 19 girls ran their fastest home course times.
