Milford High School Cross Country

Elizabeth Butterly placed eighth overall to score a medal to lead the varsity girls to a fifth-place finish at the Lake Forest Invitational Saturday. Jackie Creasey, Erica Godwin, Jody George, Marissa McDonnell, Meredith Muskovich and Becky Clendaniel closed out the varsity scorers, while Emmery Williams scored a season-best for the junior varsity. For the boys, George Kershaw scored his season-best to finish as the team's No. 2 runner behind senior Andrew Meade, while Travis White earned his best time as a varsity runner. Brandon Morris, Matt Esposito, Matt Holloway and Robert Fisher also finished in the varsity top seven. Erick Cisneros and Kyle Berry each added career-best times for the junior varsity.
