Through rain, sleet, snow . . . and mud -- just like the postman. . . Lindsay Kenton scored a T-shirt and a season-best time and Brent Leitzell added a career-best time to lead the girls and boys, respectively, Saturday at the Ron Powell Memorial Invitational in Clayton. In a mudbog of a race doused with rain showers and puddles, Jessica Fitzpatrick, Jackie Creasey and Rashad Matthews each collected medals for their performance, while Candice Young improved her time to reach the varsity. Andrew Meade also had his best team finish ever, moving up to No. 5 on varsity and Tricia Gerken scored her first varsity run.
