COLUMBUS - The Denver Pioneers won their 2nd straight NCAA Division 1 title on Saturday April 9, 2005 over North Dakota 4-1. Former Pittsburgh Forge goaltender Peter Mannino is the most valuable player in the Frozen 4 for his stellar play and former Forge teammates Ryan Dingle and Mike Handza of Shaler are also members of this championship team.
