2013 National Invitational Scholastic Showcase

December 6-8, 2013 ~ Jamestown Savings Bank Arena – Jamestown, NY

8^th Annual - ‘Governor’s Cup’

Ø Your school is invited to apply for participation in a 20 school showcase of the top Varsity high school teams from across the United States. This event will host the best teams regionally and nationally to compete for the Governor’s Cup at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena in New York and Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa . This event is open to Schools with USA Hockey Rosters, National Federation Status and Hockey Canada Travel Permits. This Invitational event will be open to State Champions, Finalists, Semi-Finalists and Exempt Champions and we will attempt to limit to a total of four schools from any particular area [State or Region] to ensure that each school participating will face three out-of-state opponents in the preliminary round of competition with an opportunity to advance to the 8 team Quarter-Finals on Saturday evening. The tournament will be played on 3 rinks in prime time for this round robin event.

UPDATE 10-15-2013 ~ 20 Schools have preliminary committments for the 2013 NISS including Ontario (2), Eastern Pennsylvania (2), Erie (1), Illinois (1), Indiana (1), Ohio (5) Maryland (1) New York (2) and Western Pennsylvania (5).  

2013 Pa Hockey Scholastic Showcase

18th Annual - ‘Director’s Cup ‘

Ø   The 18^th Annual Pa Hockey Scholastic Showcase at the Harmarville in Pittsburgh,, Pennsylvania being held on December 27-30, 2013, that will feature the top teams in Western Pennsylvania and additional schools regionally and nationally.  Your school is invited to participate in a 16-team showcase of the top Varsity high school teams from Western Pennsylvania and the USA. The 18^th Annual Pa Hockey Scholastic Showcase will host the best teams locally, regionally and nationally to compete for the coveted Director’s Cup. This year’s field will include the top teams from Western Pennsylvania Hockey and teams from across the United States.

UPDATE 10-15-2013 ~ 12 Schools have committed for the 2013 PAHSS including from Western Pennsylvania (9) West Virginia (1), Central Pennsylvania (1) and Johnstown (1).
