The Berlin Minutemen opened their dual meet season with a win in Newington 36-28. Leading the way for the Minutemen with three wins was Brandon Solek who had two pins and a 6-1 victory. The following had two wins: Anthony Zovich, Colin Cunningham (2 pins), Sam Vreeland, Jack Russo, Ryan Butler (2 pins), Ryan Bisson (2 pins), Tim Norton, Kevin Moss, Mason Powers, Ryan DeGroff, Cameron Banks, and Jonathan Fiorillo (2 pins). Winning one match on the night were: Nathan Giaccone (pin), Sean Sullivan, Ricky Mullins (pin), Sean Pentalow (pin), Jacob Eliades, Brendan Butler, Ryan Vujs (pin), Sheri Sylvia (pin) and Tyler Feger. It was a great first effort by everyone. Those didn't win but did very well were: Andrew Mals, Erik Labieniec, Matt Cote, Mathew Bogden, Todd Koops, Nick Mangiafico, Devon Reilly, Kyle Zuk, Danny Hackett, Jack Banks, Chris Solek, Derrick Durity and Matt DelConte.
