Team Places 4th at 2011 Meriden Invitational Paul Notti Duals

Sunday, January 23, 2011 Youth Wrestling Tournament
Twenty-one members of the team competed in the highly competitive Paul Notti Invitational Team Tournament at Thomas Edison Middle School in Meriden. The Minutemen first wrestled Newington winning that match 72-34. They then wrestled tough against Glastonbury losing. In the final match of pool competition the Minutemen topped Southington 37-34. This placed them against Bristol for third and fourth place. In a tough match Bristol came out strong and topped the Minutemen in the final match of the day.The following individuals helped the team place fourth out of eight teams; Trevor Graham, Sean Nogiec, JP Gorneault, Riley Hansen, Daniel Veleas, Elijah Watson, Matthew Wojciechowski, Andrew Martin, Michael Daniels, Joshua Veleas, Anthony Buccheri, Jonathan Shine, Andrew Zovich, Niko Fusco, Ronnie Watson, Michael Patterson, Laura Cohen, Jared Zima, Vinny Biscoglio and Seth Pelletier.
