Minutemen Youth Wrestling

The Minutemen travelled to Avon High School on Saturday, February 8th and beat the Avon squad 70-42. Due to illness the Minutemen had a small squad that had to wrestle a lot of matches. Winning four matches were: Anthony Scacca and Brendan Butler both with one pin. Bringing home two wins were: Anthony Zovich, Ryan Butler, Andrew Alessi and Mason Powers. Winning one match were: Jeremy and Jacob Eliades. Wrestling tough but ending on the short end of the score were: Tim Norton and Derrick Durity. The best matches of the day were put in by Matthew Bogden who lost three matches but worked hard throughout. He lost his final match by a score of 9-8. The Minutemen improved their record to 7-1 on the season.
