Announcement
On Sunday, December 28th twelve Minutemen traveled to Bristol Eastern High School to compete in the Bristol Holiday Tournament. It was a good day as ten of the twelve placed.
In the Mighty Mite Division Cayden Hill won his first medal ever and it was a good one winning four matches to take home first place. Isaac Cortes and Braden Shea, two Bantam wrestlers both finished second. In the Intermediate Division Riley Hanson lost his first match 4-3 then pinned his next two oppenents to place second while Zachary Koops and Luke Mangiafico both finished third. Elijah Watson placed third in the Novice Division while in the Middle School Division Seth Pelletier and Ronnie Watson took first place, Niko Fusco placed third and Kevon Bradley and Dajion Hill both finished fourth on the day.
The Minutemen will compete again in tournaments at their own Berlin Blast at Berlin High School on Sunday, January 8th. It is anticipated over 400 wrestlers will compete in the tournament on that day. Adimission is $3.00 and wrestling starts at 9:30 AM.
