As a freshman in 2008, Cara played in all 16 games, starting 14, during her first collegiate season... Well-rounded first campaign, scoring nine goals and assisting on two others, along with 20 ground balls, 14 draw controls and 12 caused turnovers... Scored her first goal at Loyola on a free-position shot against Towson (3/1)... Scored a career-high three goals, and recorded a career-best four draws against Connecticut (3/15).

High School: Earned eight varsity letters - four in field hockey, four in lacrosse - at Archbishop Carroll High School in Radnor, Pa... Named to the All-America First Team and an Academic All-American in 2006... Also earned All-Main Line, All-Catholic League First Team and All-Delaware County First Team honors that season... A finalist for the United States U-19 team... Scored 68 goals and had 16 assists in 2006 and finished her prep career with 139 goals and 30 assists... Helped her team win four Philadelphia Catholic League titles... Earned All-Catholic League First Team honors in 2005 and was named All-Main Line and All-Delaware County Second Team... Helped her field hockey team win three Catholic League championships and earned All-Catholic League and All-Main Line Second Team honors in 2005.
