Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Basketball

The Lady Golden Bears welcomed HHC foe Greenfield-Central on Tuesday Night. The varsity was defeated after a great effort in the second half. Kaylee Edwards led the way with 25 points (23 in second half), while Junior power forward Madison Phares had 13 points and 13 rebounds. Senior guard Megan Eads connected on two 3’s to add 6 points and Jaidyn Tackett had 5 points. The varsity’s record is now 4-5 on the year. The JV team defeated Greenfield-Central to move its record tShelbyville JV/V vs. Greenfield-Centralo 4-5 as well. Both teams will host state ranked Franklin Community on Saturday starting at 1 pm.
