Fans at Saturday’s league challenge between the Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) and the host Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN), saw Delta’s basketball squad overcome Shelbyville by a tally of 48-40.
With the victory, Delta improves its record to 4-14 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Monroe Central (Parker City, IN) to confront the Golden Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 28. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Monroe Central won 59-49 in their recent league challenge against Wapahani (Selma, IN)
Next up, the Golden Bears confront the Triton Central Tigers (Fairland, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Shelbyville will attempt to move on its 3-18 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 20-0 record after their 89-63 non-league win over Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN).
