Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Take Care Of Business At Connersville

The Lady Golden Bears improved to 13-7 after defeating Connersville 51-45 Saturday afternoon. The Bears were led in scoring by LeAnn Douglas 24, Ashley Ayers 9, And Dana Gardner 8. Connersville was led in scoring by Mindy Cooper 21, and Tiffany Bertsch 10. The JV team was victorious also.
The Bears were 21-29 from the line. The Bears will play their final regular season game at Franklin on Tuesday Jan.31st JV tip is 6 PM. Varsity tip is 7:30 PM. Sectional draw came out today here is the schedule: Tuesday Feb.7th @6PM Columbus East Vs Columbus North, Tuesday Feb.7th@7:30 PM Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears vs East Central, Friday Feb.10th@ 6 PM winner of Game #1 vs winner of Game #2, Friday Feb.10th@ 7:30 PM Bloomington North Vs Bloomington South, Saturday Feb.11th@7:30 PM Championship Game.
