Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Win Big At Yorktown

The Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears are (1-0 overall & 1-0 in the Hoosier Heritage Conference) after defeating the Yorktown Tigers 102-15. By utilizing a relentless press, Shelbyville scored 9 points in the first minute to lead 34-4 after one quarter. On the strength of the bench play, the Lady Golden Bears held Yorktown scoreless in the last quarter. Yorktown was forced to use many of their JV players due to injuries to 4 varsity players.
The Lady Bears home opener is Tuesday November 14th against Greensburg. Tipoff is 6pm JV & 7:30pm varsity. Lets fill the stands Tuesday to back the Lady Bears this season.
