Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Basketball

Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears suffered their 4th loss of the season at Franklin Tuesday Night. Franklin led 15-10 after one quarter, then outscored Shelbyville 16-8 in the second quarter to lead 31-18 at halftime. The Bears outscored Franklin 16-9 to cut the lead 40-34 after three quarters. The Bears cut the lead to 52-50 after a Gretchen Haehl 3 pointer with 30 seconds to go. Franklin then turned it over. With 8 seconds left, Gretchen threw the ball to her sister Gwen for a lay up but the ball went in and out. The bears were led in scoring by Gretchen Haehl 28, Gwen Haehl 13, Katie Jackson 5, and Haley Wise 4. note: Gretchen Haehl was named WKWH player of the game.
