Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Basketball

The Lady Golden Bears opened thier season on the road at Greensburg Tuesday night with a big loss. Greensburg led from start to finish leading 14-8 after one, 36-14 at halftime, 52-25 after three, the final read 61-34. The Lady bears was led in scoring by: Catlin Mills 10, Chelsey Skipton 9, Eryn Hopper 8, Chelsea Weaver, Jenna Hebbe, & Ashley Martin 2 apiece, & Chelsee Simerly 1. Greensburg was led in scoring by: Melanie Trammell 22. The JV lost 22-20. The lady Golden Bears new head coach will be looking for her first win Saturday afternoon when the Lady Golden Bears plays it's home opener against Columbus North JV tipoff is at 12 noon & the varsity tipoff is at 1:30 PM.
