Shelbyville outscored Batesville 20-10 in the fourth quarter to steal a 49-43 victory Saturday afternoon.
Riley Achenbach scored a game-high 16 points and she helped the Golden Bears (2-5) hit 19-of-27 free throw attempts on the Bulldogs' home court.
Bailey Baumer led Batesville (3-3) with 10 points.
The Bulldogs built a 10-8 lead after the first quarter, but the visiting Golden Bears scored 14 second-quarter points to take a 22-21 lead into halftime.
Batesville regained the lead after three quarters, 33-29.
Alexis Tackett scored 12 points, including hitting 6-of-7 free throws.
Taylor Pierce had eight points and a team-high eight rebounds and Allyson Conner finished with eight points.
Shelbyville's junior varsity dropped to 0-7 with a 28-23 loss.
The Golden Bears, 2-1 on the road this season, travel to New Palestine (3-3, 1-0 Hoosier Heritage Conference) on Tuesday.
