Congradulations to the Lady Golden Bears for clinching at least a share of Hoosier Heritage Conference Pendleton defeated Rushville & New Palestine defeated Greenfield-Central they are both 1 game back of Shelbyville. The bears can win the HHC outright with a win over Delta Saturday afternoon at Delta the start time for the JV game is 12 pm & the varsity tip off is at 1:30 pm. The Lady Bears take a record into Delta of(12-4 overall but more importantly 6-0 in the HHC). The bears was led in scoring by: Kelli Haehl 17, LeAnn Douglas 15, Ashley Ayers 8, Julie Snuffer 7, Dana Gardner 4, Chelsea Parks & Melanie Clark 2 apiece, and Sarah Wheeler 1. Mount Vernon was led in scoring by: Cassie Bills 11. So pack the stands Saturday afternoon to cheer on the Lady Bears on to victory & another Hoosier Heritage Conference championship.
