Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Basketball

The Lady Bears finish the regular season at (1-19 overall & 0-7 in the HHC) after losing to Franklin 61-50 tuesday night. Franklin led after one 14-12, the bears tied the game at halftime 24-24, franklin outscored the lady bears by 9 in the third to retake the lead 42-33, Franklin outscored the bears 19-17 to win 61-50. The bears was led in scoring by: Chelsea Weaver & Eryn Hopper 12 apiece, Chelsey Skipton 10, Chelsee Simerly 6, Caitlin Mills 5, Ashley Bush 4, & Natasha Palmer 1. Franklin was led in scoring by: Carley Buchanan 18, Shelby Parmer 15, Libby Hartkorn 12, Tiffney Ray 6, Monique Moss & Caity Shuck 5 apiece. The bears are off untill friday febuary 12th when they will play either Hamilton Heights or Mt. Vernon in the second semi-final game of the Shelbyville sectional at 7:30 PM.
