Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Basketball

The Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears advanced to the semi-final round of the Columbus East Sectional Friday Feb. 11th after defeating East Central 58-41 to move their season record to 15-6. Columbus East defeated #8 Bloomington North in the second game 52-49 to move their season record to 18-2. Shelbyville will take on Colums East in the first semi-final game on Friday Feb. 11th followed by Columbus North vs #9 Bloomington South. The Bears were led in scoring by Lauren Rees 14, LeAnn Douglas 13, Dana Gardner 11, Lauren Murphy 10, Ashley Ayers 6, Kelli Haehl 3, and Julie Snuffer 2.
