Staff report
Allyson Conner connected on three 3-pointers and scored a career-high 20 points to lead visiting Shelbyville over Waldron, 61-39.
The Golden Bears (2-8) led 18-8 after one quarter Saturday, but the Mohawks (2-9) rallied to cut the lead to 25-19 by halftime. Shelbyville’s lead was seven after three quarters before the Golden Bears scored 23 points over the final eight minutes.
Riley Achenbach also hit three 3s and finish with 10 points.
Caitlin Hedman and Heather Schuneman each had 10 points to lead Waldron.
The Mohawks won the junior varsity game, 33-23.
Bethany Workman had 12 points to lead Waldron.
Abey Bass scored 10 to lead Shelbyville.
