Records Fall at Warren-Stauffer!

Both the Boys and Girls records were broken at the Warren-Stauffer Invitational

Amanda Stephens en route to a record-setting 18:52 finish. She is the only girl in La Mirada High School history to run faster than 19:00 minutes.  Jared Bird races to a 15:50—the fastest time ever by a La Mirada runner on a 3-mile course.

Until last season, only one girl ran faster than 20:00 minutes for a 3-mile course and that was in 1982! Erica Sandoval (19:29) became the 4^th girl from La Mirada to break the 20:00 minute barrier. In the process, she raced to the 2^nd fastest girls time and set a new freshman record.
