Success at Millikan Invitational!

The Matadores scored big this Saturday at the Millikan Invitational run at Heartwell Park in Long Beach. Of the thirty-three athletes who participated, twenty-three earned a PR and eighteen earned medals. Freshman Destinie Martin started the trend with a hard-fought 3^rd place finish in the girls freshman race. Soon after, in the senior girls race, Vanessa Thomas once again led the way as her team finished in 2^nd place overall. Just as the sun appeared, the boys sophomore team, led by Nathaniel Moore's 5^th place finish, raced to the top in their race. To round out the day, the senior boys placed 4^th and the sophomore girls placed 5^th. Great job everybody! Check out all the results at 2002 race results.
